Who is Das zwoelfer?

In 2020, twelve courageous municipalities joined forces and decided to henceforth collectively appear as das zwoelfer (derived from the German word for zwölf -twelve). On our shared web page, we offer a brief but informative overview on the rich variety of museums in the Tirschenreuth district. The support of the web appearance is managed by the museum department of IKom Stiftland. It was established in 2018, with an office in Mitterteich as coordination centre for the museums in the Tirschenreuth district. The project is funded by the consulting state office for non-governmental museums in Bavaria (German: Landesstelle für die nichtstaatlichen Museen in Bayern) and the Tirschenreuth district.
